On a Mac, the current Hivenet app can create a Send link for one file already synced in My Disk. On Windows, use Send in a browser.
Before you send
Check that you have selected the file and version you intend to send. It must have finished uploading to Hivenet. Keep a usable copy until the recipient confirms that their download opens.
Send one file from your Mac
Open Hivenet in Finder, then My Disk.
Select one file that has finished uploading. Right-click it and choose Send with Hivenet.
Wait for the Send window to show the link, then copy it.
Paste the complete link into a message to the recipient. Include which file to expect and its transfer deadline.
The current Mac flow is for one synced file at a time. It does not include multiple-file or folder selection, a transfer password, or an email-recipient form.
Check Send limits and plan access before creating a transfer. Desktop and browser Send use the same allowance for your account.
Use the browser for other files or options
Use the browser Send guide if you are on Windows, want to send files outside My Disk, need several files in one transfer, or want to set a transfer password. The files must be available to your browser's file picker.
If Send with Hivenet is missing on your Mac, check that you are using the current app and have selected one fully uploaded file inside My Disk. Use the browser route if the option is still unavailable.
Check what the recipient receives
A Send link gives the recipient temporary access to the transfer's files. It does not give them continuing access to your Store folder, and they do not need to create a Hivenet account.
Ask the recipient to download and open the file before its deadline. Their saved copy should be the expected file and version. Keep your own usable copy while they check.
Forwarding the same link does not extend its deadline. See Send link expiry if the recipient needs another copy after the link expires.
Older desktop sharing links
If your link starts with share.hivenet.com, use the original link terms for its expiry and access conditions. Do not apply current Send expiry rules to an older desktop sharing link. If its terms are unclear or it no longer works, contact Hivenet Support.
