Supported Windows versions

The Hivenet desktop app is compatible with:
Windows 10 (64-bit)
Windows 11

These versions ensure full functionality, security, and performance for your Hivenet experience.

Unsupported Windows versions

Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 – These versions are no longer supported by Microsoft and lack essential security updates required for our app.
Windows versions older than 10 – The Hivenet app is optimized for modern operating systems and will not run on older versions.

If you're using an unsupported version, consider upgrading to Windows 10 or 11 to access Hivenet's features without compatibility issues.

How to check your Windows version

Not sure which version you're running? Here's how to check:

  1. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.

  2. Type winver and press Enter.

  3. A window will pop up showing your Windows version and build number.

Installation troubleshooting

If you're having trouble installing the Hivenet app, make sure:

  • You're using a supported Windows version (Windows 10 or 11).

  • Your system meets the minimum hardware requirements for Hivenet.

  • You're installing the app in the default installation path (C:\Users[Your Username]\hiveDisk).
