  • Remove the application:

    • Open your Finder.

    • Navigate to the Applications folder.

    • Locate the Hivenet application.

    • Right-click on the Hivenet app and select Move to Trash.

While the default macOS uninstaller removes the primary components of Hivenet, it may not delete all files associated with the application. To ensure the complete removal of Hivenet from your Mac, follow these steps using our dedicated uninstall tool:

    1. Download the uninstaller:

      • Ensure that Hivenet is not running. If it is, quit the application before proceeding with the uninstallation.

    3. Uninstall Hivenet:

      • Type the command: ./path/to/hiveDisk-uninstall-tool.sh (replace /path/to/ with the actual location where the script is saved) and press Enter.

    7. Follow on-screen prompts:

      • The script will execute and may ask for your administrator password to remove all associated files. Follow any popup prompts to complete the cleanup.

Hivenet is now fully uninstalled.
