Distribution and control are different
Distribution describes how work or data is spread across connected systems. Decentralization describes how control is divided. Hivenet operates the service and uses systems for accounts, coordination and file records. Distributed storage does not mean that users govern the network.
Do you need Web3 or cryptocurrency?
You do not need a cryptocurrency wallet or token to start using Store. Follow the Store getting-started guide and its account instructions. Web3 is a broad label; it does not establish how your files are protected or who controls the service.

Choose the product and write down your task.
Identify a requirement, such as access from a device, retrieving a usable file, storage location or retention.
Read the relevant product guide and applicable terms or agreement. If the answer is unclear, ask Hivenet Support about that specific requirement.
Record the answer, its source and date, and anything still unconfirmed before relying on it.
