Some desktop app versions may still show an older right-click sharing option. That older flow creates a different kind of link and only works for files already in your Hivenet folder.

It works with files on your device.
If you need to send a folder, zip it first.
You can use it without an account, though you may need to verify your email.

Desktop link sharing
Some desktop app versions may still show a right-click option called Send with Hivenet. This is an older flow.
It only works for files already in your Hivenet folder.

Which one should I use?
Use Send with Hivenet in your browser.
Use the older desktop flow only if you still see it and need to work with an existing share.hivenet.com link.
If you want to use your device’s own share menu, you still can. That is separate from Hivenet Send.
How to tell which link you have
If your link starts with send.hivenet.com, it came from Send with Hivenet in your browser.
If your link starts with share.hivenet.com, it came from the older desktop right-click flow.
