New Hivenet contribution setups are currently paused. Check the contribution page for updates before trying to set up a Synology NAS.
The older NAS guide covered contributing unused disk space to Hivenet. It did not describe backing up your personal NAS files to Store.
If you already have a NAS installation
Keep your existing setup in place while you contact Hivenet Support for guidance. Do not rerun an older setup or update script as a troubleshooting step; it can replace the installed container and change its settings.
Include your Synology model, DSM version and the Agent or container version, if you can see it.
Describe the status shown, when the problem started and any recent device or network change.
If contributed space or credits are missing, describe what you expected and what the account shows. A running container alone does not confirm that contribution has been recorded.
Use the existing-Agent troubleshooting guide for connection and network-use questions. Before changing hardware or a contribution drive, read the existing-installation guide. Support can check which guidance applies to your installed version.
If you want an extra copy of your files
Use the backup planning guide to choose separate copies and check retrieval. For files you choose to upload to Store, follow the first-file guide from a supported device. Keep the originals until you have checked the stored copy.
