Make sure you have enough space before uploading

Hivenet makes a local copy before upload—here’s why that matters.

Before your files are uploaded to Hivenet, they’re temporarily copied and processed on your device. This ensures:

  • The upload can run smoothly without interruptions

  • Files are verified, secured, and backed up properly

  • Uploads can continue even if you’re working on something else

So, if you’re planning to upload 200 GB of files, make sure you’ve got at least 200 GB of free space available on your device. If not, the upload might fail midway—and nobody wants that.
