Do I need a Hivenet account to use Send?

Send without logging in — but here’s why you might want an account later.

Nope. You can:

  • Upload your files

  • Share the link

  • And you’re done — no sign-up required

We’ll ask you to verify your email once per session, just to keep things secure. But you never have to create a full account to send files.

So what’s the point of creating an account?

If you plan to use Send often, you’ll hit the free limit: 10 transfers per month.

With a Hivenet account and a subscription, you get:

  • Unlimited transfers via Send

  • Access to Hivenet’s cloud storage

  • Future features like transfer history, longer expiry, and reuse — all tied to your account

How to create a Hivenet account

You can sign up at https://www.hivenet.com/subscribe. You'll need:

  • A valid email address

  • Or sign in with Apple or Google

We’ll never track your files, and we don’t require any payment details until you’re ready to upgrade.

Managing your account

Right now, there’s no dashboard for Send. To manage your subscription or storage, just head over to your Hivenet profile.

More advanced Send account features are coming in future versions — we’ll keep you posted.
